Communities that welcome and support persons with disabilities become
sanctuaries of divine presence. Isaiah proclaimed: “Is not this the fast
that I have chosen? … to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the
poor that are cast out to thy house?” (Isaiah 58:6–7).
True fasting is not ritual but justice, accessibility,
and inclusion. Communities must ensure accessible
public spaces, inclusive schools, and equal employment opportunities.
Compassion transforms neighborhoods into holy ground, but compassion must be
structured into policy, funding, and advocacy.
CCF Divine Mandate: DISABILITY COMPASSION
OUTREACH calls on international NGOs, donor agencies,
governments, and civil society to partner in building inclusive
communities where PWDs thrive as leaders, workers, and visionaries. Such
sanctuaries of light are the living embodiment of Christ’s compassion.
